A Man And A Woman Stand On A Stage, Looking At Each Other. The Man Is Holding A Clock. Blink (Oberon Modern Plays) Phil Porter

In Phil Porter's Blink, time is not what it seems. It is a fluid, malleable thing that can be stretched, squeezed, and even stopped.

The play follows the story of two people, Alex and Beth, who meet by chance at a train station. They are both strangers, but they are drawn to each other by a shared sense of loss. Alex has lost his wife, and Beth has lost her son.

As they talk, they begin to realize that they have more in common than they thought. They both feel like they are living in a fog, unable to move on from their past. They both feel like they are trapped in time.

But then, something strange happens. Alex starts to experience time differently. He can see the future, and he can change it. At first, he uses this power for good, but soon he begins to realize that it is not as simple as it seems.

The play explores the nature of time and its impact on our lives. It asks questions about what it means to live in the present, and how we can move on from the past. It is a thought-provoking and moving play that will stay with you long after you've finished reading it.
